Group Email Mailbox Rules and Settings

If you are having an issue receiving every email from a shared email directly to your mailbox please follow these steps. 

 

1. Open Outlook and go to the groups tab. (If it is not on the side bar check the more apps button)

2. Once in the groups tab, find the group that you are a part of. You can do this by selecting a favorite item or search for the specific group in discover groups that you need to be a part of.

3. My recommendation if you access the mailbox frequently would be to favorite the group. To do this, select the star next to the group name. It should look like this:

4. When it is added as a favorite, it will show up above your general email

5. After that has been completed, if you wish to change how you receive emails from this group go to the email and select this drop-down arrow.

6. You can adjust the email notifications by selecting one of the following options.

7. Once that has been finished you should only receive emails based on the option you selected.
