Forwarding school emails to a personal address

Forwarding emails from a campus-provided student email account to a personal email account.

If you would like to forward your college Gmail to another email account, please do the following:
- Go to your Inside Portal.
- Enter your college-assigned email address and password.
- Click Sign In.
- Click on the Hamburger Menu (three horizontal dashes) located in the upper left corner of the page, click Email, and select Student Email. This will sign you into your college-assigned Gmail account.
- Click on the Gear icon located in the upper-right corner (you may also need to click "See all settings"), then click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
- In the Forwarding section, click on the Add forwarding address button.
- Enter the email address to which you'd like your messages forwarded.
- For your security, we'll send a verification to that email address.
- Open your forwarding email account, and find the confirmation message from the Gmail team.
- Click the verification link in that email.
- Back in your Gmail account, enter the Confirmation Code located in the confirmation email message and click on the Verify button.
- Select the Forward a copy of incoming mail to... option and select your forwarding address from the drop-down menu.
