- Open ShoreTel/Mitel client
- Go to Connect at the top of the client
- Click on Settings… in the drop-down
- Go to Call Routing
- Then click the Power Routing tab at the top
- Click on Create New Power Rule
- Type in a Rule Name
- Click on + number matches
- Click on the down arrow of the number to expand the list of options
- Select the number is an external number starting with
- Add the number you wish to block
- Then click on Forward Call To
- Click on the bottom circle and add 8903
- Click on Create Rule at the bottom of the screen
This will block any caller that you wish to block. You may still see that they called for a second, and then they were routed to the call hang-up at 8903.
If an entire department is being called or the caller has called multiple numbers, please let us know at the District Office so that we can add them to the global blocked list.
